Just across the highway, Pegasus Town boasts an incredible array of lifestyle attractions. A championship golf course, with dedicated driving range, a sculptured lake and wetlands, and access to the beach – as well as lakeside cafes and shops – there’s plenty to entertain visitors to Pegasus.
RANGIORA
Combining a sense of history and a range of new development, Rangiora is less than 10 minutes from Ravenswood.
With boutique and large format shopping, and a number of new and established eateries and hospitality venues, as well as parks, walking trails and wetlands, Rangiora is the ideal location for a convenient shopping alternative or a day trip.
WOODEND
Sharing a semi-rural boundary with Streamside by Ravenswood, Woodend has a relaxed vibe, close to the beach for sunbathing, swimming and surfing, as well as walking and cycling tracks to explore.
The welcoming Woodend community also offers more shopping options, including fresh and delicious food from outstanding local producers.
KAIAPOI
Just a little closer to Christchurch, Kaiapoi – an historic trading centre for Māori – is built along the banks of the Kaiapoi River.
Taking time out to visit the local boutiques and art galleries, or enjoying leisurely walks along the river, local residents find plenty to enjoy among the rich history and bustling community of Kaiapoi.

And, of course, the beaches that range along the region’s Pacific Coast provide kilometres of undisturbed sand and sea, the ideal opportunity for a quick dip, and early morning surf, or a day of family fun.
