Eat. Shop. Repeat.

Ravenswood Central - a great place to be.

Right next to the Ravenswood subdivision is New Zealand’s newest town centre – Ravenswood Central.

With 20 hectares of commercially zoned land, Ravenswood Central will grow alongside the community. Many businesses are already established, with much more to come.

New World, BP, McDonald’s, Gull, Joe’s Garage, The Coffee Club and other restaurants are already open, soon to be joined by Harvey Norman, Unichem and other known brands.

Alongside the new retail area Ravenswood Central is also home to light industrial businesses such as Thistle Fit.

Over the coming years, Ravenswood Central will fill in its 20 hectares with a mixture of retail, hospitality and services to become a community focused, thriving town centre.

SHOP.

Harvey Norman will be opening its doors in 2024 along with a number of small shops and services next door to New World. Across the road a new town centre will be developed which will have all of your shopping needs covered!

There are also fantastic shopping near-by in Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Amberley.

Near-by

You don’t have to travel far from Ravenswood to enjoy the boutique shops and a number of quality cafes and restaurants within the Waimakariri District.

Kaiapoi

Kaiapoi is a historic town on the banks of the Kaiapoi River which is only 10 minutes from Ravenswood.  It has a great mix of restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries to enjoy.

Pegasus

Pegasus is a short 5 minute drive from Ravenswood and is a small community with a white sand beach near-by, perfect for a stroll with a coffee in hand from a local cafe.

Rangiora

Rangiora is a boutique town with plenty of places to visit either for lunch, brunch, coffee, dinner or a drink.  You will not be disappointed at the selection and quality.

Woodend

Just down the road from Ravenswood is Woodend. It might be the smallest community listed but it is still mighty when it comes to local cafes and restaurants.

THE FUTURE

We have HUGE plans for Ravenswood Central as it is officially a town centre. At the intersection of Bob Robertson Drive and Garlick Street a large retail and commercial area is to be built which will feature some big box stores as well as small retailers and eateries.

Below is a sneak peak of how it might look.

THE FINAL STAGE IS SELLING NOW, SO DON'T MISS OUT ON BEING PART OF THIS GREAT COMMUNITY
